Remembering your essence
through yoga, dance + meditation
a weekend workshop with David Pressault + Hart Lazer
“Either we live the life others want of us or we live our life”.
In this workshop David and Hart will help you explore how your life is unfolding and how to come more deeply in contact with who you are, why you are here and how you might live when connected with your deeper self. We will explore creativity, our bodies and hearts, through various tools including dance, discussion, meditation and gentle yoga poses. We will further explore the jungian way to individuation and living authentically. The weekend will include meditation, lecture on jungian analysis, asana and creative dance basics.
David Pressault is a Jungian analyst and a contemporary dance artist. He began his career as a dancer in 1987 and started creating his own choreographic work five years later. In 2005, David retired from the stage as a dancer and began a Masters in dance at UQAM. During this transitional period, he also started the training program in Analytical Psychology at the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts (OAJA). He now practices as a Jungian Analyst. He also gives lectures and workshops on psychoanalytical thought here in Canada and abroad.
Hart Lazer has been teaching and training Yoga teachers for more than 30 years. Through his early roots in the Iyengar system, Hart met his teacher Ramanand Patel, with whom he enjoys a close relationship. Hart went on to co-found two studios and teach extensively throughout Western Canada. He has expanded his work internationally to include workshops and Yoga teacher training in Asia. Co-owner of United Yoga Montreal, Hart now calls Montreal home.
