Len Blum

Before yoga, Len wrote a number of Hollywood movies including Meatballs (released in 1979), Stripes (1982), Beethoven’s 2nd (1993), Private Parts (1997), The Pink Panther, and Over The Hedge (2006).

In December of 1999, after experiencing his very first class, he fell in love with yoga, and in September of 2000 he made a commitment to following his practice, wherever it led.

Len completed Ashtanga Teacher Training in 2003 at Downward Dog Yoga Center, followed in 2005 by Advanced Teacher Training with hart lazer at Ashtanga Yoga Montreal. He continues to study under hart lazer.

His current areas of study are:
  • His current areas of study are: How yoga techniques can reduce physical pain,
  • How yoga techniques can deepen and complete the development of the nervous system,
  • How The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali relates to physical yoga practice and daily life.

    Michael Bridge-Dickson

Michael began practicing yoga after 10 years as a classical and contemporary dancer. Having always been interested in the body as a link to the mind, emotions, and spirit, Michael immediately took to the physicality of Ashtanga Yoga. Through this practice, Michael began studying with hart lazer, who introduced him to a broader expression of Hatha Yoga. Michael applies what has learned through Hart's guidance to his teaching, practice, and daily life. As a teacher and student, Michael combines his keen eye and attention to detail with ongoing Ayurvedic, Tantric, and Restorative Yoga practices to enrich his and his students' consciousness of the inseparable aspects of mind, body, and spirit.

    Alexis Papadimitriou

Alexis has been teaching yoga since 2001. He started with 2 teacher trainings with the Sivananda organisation. He then met Hart Lazer 3 years later and has been under his guidance since that time.

Alexis is known as a teacher who offers precision, and at the same time allows for space so that intuition can be part of the process.

    Razielle Aigen

Razielle began her exploration of yoga and meditation in 1999. After several years of committed practice, she completed yoga teacher training with her mentor hart lazer, and continues to deepen her practice through on-going intensive trainings with Hart and Ramanand Patel.

    Sebastien Arcand-Tourigny

Building on a precocious interest in Japanese contemplative arts, Sebastien formally began yoga 20 years ago, as a complement and extension of his musical training. He later incorporated pure mathematics, different approaches to the mind and body (zen, qigong, running, weight training), as well as a currently ongoing degree in osteopathy. Sebastien combines these aspects to look at deeply rooted practices from unexpected new angles. He leads his challenging yet welcoming classes with inspiration, offering a balance of knowledge and experimentation, somewhere between mind-bending subtleties and bold heartfelt expression. Sebastien is also a professional saxophonist who join his skills towards helping musicians health and growth.

    Joanna Hunter

Brought up in a devout Christian community, Joanna was drawn to the spiritual practice of yoga in 1996. She first studied in the Sivananda tradition, and then broadened her practice with Sandy Blaine, a student of Donald Moyer. Her practice truly flourished under the guidance of Hart Lazer and Ramanand Patel, with whom she continues to study. Firm, precise and compassionate, Joanna teaches students awareness of where their body is in space and an understanding of what is happening in their body. In short, she asks you to bring your life into your practice.

    Patricia Garcia

Born in Mexico and having lived in Montreal since 2001, Patricia teaches in English, French and Spanish. Intrigued by the workings of asana in the body and mind, she approaches the practice with curiosity and attention. Charismatic and jovial, she guides her classes with clarity and thoughtfulness and encourages her students to observe the unique experience of each breath on the mat as the practice unfolds. Patricia has been joyfully studying yoga and meditation under Hart Lazer’s guidance since the summer of 2009 and has also completed several programs both with Ramanand Patel and Ken McLeod. She remains deeply grateful to the teachers she has met in her path for having taught her the way into yoga with integrity, simplicity, openness and unconditional love toward the practice.
